The Hoarding Condition
At Time Is Money we take
an entirely different approach to our clients than most clean out
companies or Professional Organizers.
Compulsive Hoarding is still an elusive conditions derived from many factors. Currently, the condition is believed to be closely related to Obsessive Compulsive behaviors or possibly Attention Deficit Disorder. While the condition is still being explored, we have learned that hoarding tendencies exist in all of us. Every human has emotions, and Emotional Connection to objects, people, places, and animals is completely normal. Compulsive Hoarding begins when the healthy emotional connection turns into something we have to have, rather than something we want to have. To determine if you may be a Complusive Hoarder, check out www.compulsivehoarding.com and take the questionaire.
At Time is Money, our mission is to "inspire people through our willingness to help them do the tasks they don't have the time for." Our employees won't force you to throw things away, throw things away behind your back, or make decisions on what to keep/not keep without you there. Our employees understand that it's your stuff, and your choice. From detailed cleaning, sending someone to help you side by side, or taking over the project for a swift clean-out, we're here to help.
The Hoarding Task Force of DeKalb County is still in formation to help individuals that suffer from Compulsive Hoarding. If you have questions, or would like to set up a free one-hour consultation, call Kelly direct at 815-757-3397.
